Lilac Hand-Embroidered Anarkali Set with Gold Motifs
Soft lilac, touched with gold.
A flowing lilac anarkali in tissue, with a gentle metallic sheen, made for day weddings, engagement lunches and festive gatherings. The panelled skirt falls in soft folds, and the sheer organza dupatta finishes the look.
THE CRAFT
The scoop-neck yoke is pintucked in fine vertical rows, and each row carries a hand-set strand of tiny flower-shaped sequins and beads in pearly lilac. The strands run down the yoke and over the shoulders, so the embroidery looks like a trail of small blossoms. Round gold buttis are scattered across the skirt and sleeves for a quiet shimmer. The full sleeves end in embroidered cuffs, and the back ties up with tassels. The organza dupatta is dotted with tiny beads and drapes lightly.
