Black Hand-Embroidered Uppada Silk Kurta Set with Gold and Emerald Motifs

A sleeveless V-neck kurta in black Uppada silk with a deep, glossy sheen, made for evening functions, receptions and festive dinners. Gold and green hand-worked motifs stand out against the black, and the soft chiffon dupatta finishes the set.

THE CRAFT

Large floral motifs, built up by hand in coiled gold wire and emerald-green accents, are placed across the front of the kurta, each with a small stone at its centre. The V-neckline and armholes are piped in gold and green, and the shoulders carry a scalloped border outlined in fine green and gold. Tiny sequin florets are scattered through the silk for a quiet shimmer. The chiffon dupatta carries cheeta work.

Made stitch by stitch by our karigars, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
